di Roberto Melchiori 2015-01-20
To ensure an equal and a quality education has become one of the key objectives of the European Commission’s strategic framework for cooperation in education and training (ET 2020). There is much room for improvement to professionalise school leadership, to support current school leaders and to make school leadership an attractive career for future candidates. Teaching and making history through cinema. Reflections on a research path and a didactic experience.
di Carlo Felice Casula 2015-01-20
In order to study, teach and write the history of the XX Century the use of audiovisual sources is critically important. Documentaries and fictions are essential in the reconstruction of the economical, social, political and cultural dynamics of the XX Century. Indeed, cinema has been defined as the “eye” of the 1900s. Films have a great power of information and suggestion and they are also a strong teaching tool. In the present essay the theoretical aspects of the relationship between history and cinema are reconstructed and interesting exemplifications of cinema and history paths are given.

Teacher's training and evaluation culture
di Savina Cellamare 2015-01-20
Italian school is wondering about the changes to be introduced to improve the effectiveness of educational paths. These questions highlight the need to promote a culture of evaluation approaches by adopting new assessment on which to base educational decision-making processes in order to improve the quality of learning. To meet this requirement were initiated training projects for teachers, aimed in particular at schools in the regions of southern Italy, such as the "Plan of information and education on OECD-PISA and other national and international research", funded by PON. The project is based on the assumption that the improvement of learning outcomes and quality of teaching is inextricably tied to a strong renewal of in-service teacher's training. Has therefore developed a possible operational response to these needs, of that are presented lines of development and results.
