Abstract

This article offers a reflection on the historical-educational processes related to the Jewish Holocaust and its memories, in relation to the current context, marked by ongoing conflicts and wars. The current situation also puts pressure on educational programs specifically related to the Jewish Holocaust, which require renewed reflection, both theoretical and methodological. Through the exploration of places of memory and the analysis of educational programs that identify history as a complex educational tool. The aim is to suggest a first approach to renewal that finds appropriate educational implications in the relationship between past, present, history, and memories in education.
