In November 2024, the European Migration Network published a study on the Temporary Protection Directive: Challenges and Good Practices in 2023.This article intends to analyse the data and reflections of the study by following two approaches. On the one hand, the thought of Abdelmalek Sayad and his ‘state thoughts’. On the other hand, Rosi Braidotti's complex elaboration on ‘the posthuman’. The aim is to situate this reflection in the passage of epoch we are living through, particularly with the start of the Trump presidency in the United States of America marked by an evident supremacist twist.
