Abstract
The contribution presents a reflection, based on research, on the theme of guidance and enhancing the competences of foreign students in the CPIA (Center for adult education). Access to education of migrants requires methods suitable for promoting an effective inclusion process. The CPIA are the place of access to the school and education system for adult migrants and represent a strategic place in the reception circuit of the immigrant population. The research project refers to the lifelong learning construct, understood in a humanistic and inclusive key. Through the adoption of biographical-narrative methods, a procedure was built, intended for the guidance of foreign students. The procedure, subjected to empirical verification, allowed the activation of an intercultural dialogue which favored the recognition of previous learning and the definition of a personalized educational course.
