Limits and possibilities of a “new educational space” between presence and distance. The voice of educators

Abstract

Health emergency Covi-19 has totally modified people’s everyday life, changing their habits, relationships and lifestyle to which children are not unrelated. Childhood cannot be considered a “shadow cone” unware about the stressful and unconscious reality’s events of the society surrounding it, on the contrary, the youngest are sensitive to the changes and they perceive the destabilisation of their own routine and habits. The contribution presents an exploratory survey conducted with the aim of giving a voice to education professionals on the difficulties encountered when returning to the educational services; the impact of the pandemic and the physical, psychological, relational and emotional consequences of children and families.
