Abstract:
The concept of creativity recalls multiple skills and competencies, such as personality and motivational factors, styles, strategies, and metacognitive reflections (Runco, 2013). Educational proposals aimed at developing creativity in preschoolers involve diverse cognitive processes that develop through social interactions, play and imagination. Through such an offer the children’s community can discover new ways of thinking and doing (Leggett, 2017). The article presents the results of the "creative practices involving 3-6 years old" survey which involved 3669 teachers and is aimed at exploring the educational activities in the field of creativity within kindergartens. The collected data give an account of complex projects and educational works. Those data free themselves from a vision solely related to artefacts, that is placed in a logic of continuous evolution involving territories and structuring in real paths of creative exploration.
