Teachers’
digital competence is one of the key elements for tackling the many and new
challenges found in today schools. For this reason, it is crucial to start a
reflection on the concept of Digital Pedagogy, an approach that integrates
technological competencies with a profound pedagogical knowledge which is aware
of the contemporary complexities and it is also projected towards the future. The European project
ITELab offered new ways of training following this direction to the future
teachers of 4 European countries, one of which was Italy. This paper describes
the experience of the Italian sample involved in the experimentation, made of
students coming from the Primary Education course of University of Perugia.
