Faculty development and teacher training in University eCampus


In recent years, while the Covid-19 epidemic has highlighted the centrality of teachers’ skills for learning in non-standard conditions, ministerial actions related to the PNRR have led to the establishment of Teaching and Learning Centers. In 2022, a University Commission for Faculty Development was set up in eCampus, made up of professors belonging to the five CDS of the university, an expert training teacher, a member of the Permanent Teaching Commission, the coordinators of the tutors. The tasks of the commission are: prepare the university training plan; monitor training results also in relation to Quality Assurance; ensure coordination of all functions and areas involved in the training process. The contribution reflects on the initial results of the commission’s work.
