The relationship between giftedness and the digital revolution deserves particular attention as regards the emotional experience of gifted children and young people. They are dependent on the emotional context, they don’t know how to act without allowing themselves to be permeated by the affective dimension and the emotional charge of a given situation. This leads to difficulties in attuning to peers, a feeling of diversity and inadequacy. These considerations make us to think that the relationship with digital technologies can replace the face to face relationship. Many gifted use digital to compensate for the lack of understanding and effective relationship. Therefore, the perspectives of the metaverse and the culture of artificial intelligence, rather than inducing the gifted to erroneous behaviors, should allow them to actively participate in the structuring of the Digital Age, favoring, through cognitive potential and talents, the construction of a favorable online and onlife world to all.
