Healing words. Happiness, inter-esse, gratitude and trust in education


Abstract:

Some recent documents on happiness and well-being among citizens are the starting point for a reflection on the inter-human relationships; these are explored in this contribution in order to draw attention to some words, to give shape and content to a "language of care". Indeed, it is precisely in this direction that education can promote mutual interest, gratitude and trust, thus characterizing people's educational experiences. Rethinking relationships in these terms can help make communities more supportive and participatory, carriers of human and socio-cultural change.
