Designing distance learning in an inclusive way with Learning Designer

Abstract

How can we develop training courses through distance teaching ensuring same learning opportunities for all students taking into account different forms of communication and a plurality of educational mediators (Damiano,1999)? Starting from the recent and fruitful assumption that teaching is design science and from paradigm of the Conversational Framework (Laurillard, 2014) this contribution aims to illustrate, through the description of a distance learning design experience, the benefits of Learning designer, a web-based interactive tool, that helps the teacher to design inclusive teaching activities by effectively integrating technology within the teaching-learning process.
