Abstract:
The development of educators' professional skills is nowadays fundamental for designing, implementing and evaluating quality educational experiences in kindergartens. The contribution refers to the initial training course aimed at educators in the nurseries of the Municipality of Foligno and intends to reflect on professional practices and educational action to promote the well-being and inclusion of each and every one. To this end, a qualitative-quantitative observation form was administered to educators aimed at detecting any barriers to the inclusion process. From an initial analysis of the data, results emerged that not only allowed a comparison between the different educational practices implemented, but also enabled the design of facilitation actions aimed at building increasingly child-friendly spaces and activities in line with Ecec practice, which represents a "bright path" to be taken to ensure quality and rights for citizens from early childhood.
