Abstract:
The article reports on the first results of a survey on students' perceptions of their own role in the study of educational science. Prospective educators' understanding of childhood influences how they approach their studies. Therefore, the purpose of the training is also to deconstruct and reconstruct the notion of childhood and to get people to overcome stereotypes or common sense. Through the use of metaphors, students are encouraged to understand how they see children, what their idea of education is and how they see their role in relation to the children they will encounter. The lessons then become an opportunity to examine the ideas they bring with them and reflect on the complexities of childhood. Furthermore, reflecting on the implicit idea of the child can be a starting point for building a coherent pedagogical vision to realize the integrated education system 0-6.
