Potential actions aimed at the creation and development of an Italian “New School”, capable of leaving no one behind, could be traced in many contexts: infrastructures, ministerial programs, laws, regulations and much more. This essay intends to establish a specific scope of action, determining a specific focus on the area of development of the essential skills for teachers of the "New School", establishing a direct link with the world of digital and new media. In fact, the need to train new generations of teachers in the field of digital skills is considered to be pressing, even more than the new generations of students. Teachers of the future will have to provide structured teaching based on ministerial programs that include not only digital education, but also the complexity of digital.
