Evaluating the school-family relationship during distance teaching and learning (DaD). Same results emerged from parents questionnaire

Abstract

The School and University were pushed into the era of distance teaching and learning (Dad) to ensure training for students even in the lockdown period due to the Covid-19. This experience forced teachers to a reconversion of traditional teaching into online environments not always known. This research investigates the parents’ evaluation of distance teaching and learning (Dad). The DAD has broken the boundaries between school and family by messing up the rules and actions that guaranteed a clear identity and role to these two educational agencies. 1333 parents responded to an online questionnaire designed for this research: from the answers emerged positive aspects and relevant changes in use of didactic technologies, required to support the distance learning activities and in the reorganization of family routine.
